Hi there I’m going to Taiwan in a couple of months time and really like the look of this abandoned village, could you give us some more details on exactly where it is located? I’ll be staying in Taichung so any guidance on the best way of getting from there to here would be great. Is this abandoned village anywhere near the abandoned fairground in Daken you posted picutres of here http://www.thegirlonawire.com/?p=64 ? I’ve been to that one and it’s a pretty cool place especially crossing the rope bridge which feels like it is going to give way at any given moment!

Yes, the village is fairly close to the abandoned amusement park. Although there did used to be one right next to the village, this has now been demolished and I never had a chance to go there.
